The “Sequenzha” is made by the Benito Ferrara winery starting from Fiano grapes grown in vineyards located between 450 and 600 meters above sea level, perfectly facing south. The soil has a medium texture. The selected grapes, through destemming, are softly pressed, and then the process continues with a natural sedimentation clarification. The fermentation of the must takes place in steel containers. The final maturation phase lasts for 7 months and takes place on the fine lees in steel until the wine is bottled and released for sale.
The Fiano di Avellino “Sequenzha” by Benito Ferrara presents itself to the eyes with a typically straw-yellow color. Layered and generous is the array of aromas that envelop the nose, organized in touches where the fruit, including nuts, is enriched with herbaceous sensations, reminiscent of freshly cut grass. On the palate, it has a medium, harmonious body, relying on a sip that embraces the palate thanks to a very well-constructed savory imprint. A bottle with which the winery, a small reality that has become a symbol of quality viticulture in Campania.
