Grappa Riserva Nardini
Grappa Riserva Nardini is a soft, deep grappa produced by the oldest distillery in Italy, based in Bassano del Grappa. Three years of aging in wood gives the grappa roundness and aromatic richness, characterized by notes of wood, spices and ripe fruit. Perfect to enjoy after dinner, for a moment of pure relaxation
The Grappa Riserva 3 Anni from the ancient Venetian distillery Nardini is a grappa of notable charm and balance, a testament to the established distillation tradition of the Nardini family. The first Grappa Riserva from the Nardini family was produced in 1910 by Bortolo, Orazio, and Mario Nardini, who thought to offer a grappa “aged in oak barrels like Cognac”. The long passage in wood has three main effects on the distillate: it changes the color, which goes from transparent to amber, more or less intense depending on the duration of aging; it enriches the aromatic heritage, giving characteristic wood scents; it softens the taste by smoothing the typical harshness of young grappas.
Nardini Grappa Riserva 3 Anni originates from selected pomace of different grape varieties, exclusively destemmed. The pomace undergoes the distillation process according to three different methodologies: in small stills, in a water bath, and by continuous method. Furthermore, the Nardini family applies the technique of double rectification, which consists of performing the separation of the heads and tails from the heart of the distillate twice, resulting in a product of greater purity and quality.the operation of separating the heads and tails from the heart of the distillate, resulting in a product of greater purity and quality. After the blending of the distillates, aging takes place for at least 3 years in Slavonian oak barrels, an essential step in determining the style of the Riserva.
The Grappa Riserva 3 Anni by Nardini has a clear amber color. Fragrant, delicate, and harmonious is the aromatic spectrum, described by sensations that range from flowers and spices to honey and ripe fruit, finishing with hints of wood and chocolate. On the palate, it is soft, intense, and very rich in its complex nuances due to the long aging in oak.
