Olio EVO 'Habemus' San Giovenale Raccolto 2024 - 50cl
The Extra Virgin Oil "Habemus" from San Giovenale is made in Upper Lazio from the Canino monocultivar. With an emerald color, it has a fruity profile, with vegetal notes, herbaceous hints, artichoke aromas, Mediterranean herbs, and a slight spicy kick. Ideal raw on meats, soups, and typical local dishes.
The EVO Oil "Habemus" is produced by the San Giovenale company, a famous winery in Tuscia that produces excellent red wines with the most famous international grape varieties. To enhance the full potential and ancient traditions of the territory, San Giovenale has decided to accompany the vine with another plant symbolizing Mediterranean culture, namely the olive tree. This shrub, already known and cultivated in Etruscan times, is still today the protagonist of the hilly landscape. The San Giovenale oil is made with the Canino variety in purity, an indigenous cultivar of good productivity, which yields rather small fruits with late ripening. It is an ancient plant that has perfectly adapted to the area over the millennia and has been carefully preserved by local farmers.
"Habemus", the EVO oil from San Giovenale, is born in a particular hilly area surrounding the small village of Blera. The area, particularly favorable for olive cultivation, is characterized by a especially the plant world, particularly the fragrance of freshly cut spiny artichoke, wild herbs, and the aromatic shrubs of the Mediterranean scrub. The taste is intense and full, with rich, fruity aromas and a slightly spicy finish. It is an ideal extra virgin olive oil to use raw on vegetables, vegetable soups, legumes, or grilled meats.
