The “Lona Bona” is a Sangiovese di Romagna with a convivial, pleasant, and fragrant soul, aged only in steel. Expressive aromas of violets and fresh cherries anticipate a fresh, smooth, and coherent sip, with excellent balance and delicate tannins.

The Sangiovese “Lôna Bôna” embodies the essence of a young and modern Romagna, not forgetting the territorial traditions but leaning towards a dynamic and innovative style. The reference to tradition is evident in the name which, in dialect, means “good moon” and identifies the best time for sowing, different for each variety. Modernity is evident starting from the illustrated and design label, which winks at the younger and trendier audience. The style of the wine is indeed focused on immediacy, territorial clarity, and expressive purity.

The Sangiovese di Romagna “Lôna Bôna” from the Trerè winery comes from the classic Romagna clone with small berries, sourced from a single vineyard on the lush hills of Faenza, in a bucolic context of great charm and ancient tradition. Here, Morena Trerè and her son Massimiliano Fabbri have promoted over the years a modernization of agronomic and oenological techniques, making their efficiency and territorial enhancement model. The vines are rooted in a medium-textured clayey soil, exposed to the east and southeast, with a high planting density of 5,000 plants/ha. In the winery, the vinification is carried out with fermentation and brief aging in temperature-controlled steel tanks.

The Sangiovese di Trerè “Lôna Bôna” is a red wine fresh, agile, and smooth, with great gastronomic versatility and ready to be an excellent companion for the everyday table. It has a very pleasant and expressive aromatic profile, dominated by clear hints of red flowers and fresh cherries, where one can recognize the viola mammola, rose petals, and small berries. The sip is refreshing, balanced, dry, and easy to drink, with tannins that are present but light and delicate. It pairs impeccably with appetizers based on cold cuts, sliced meats, and piadina, first courses with ragù, grilled white and red meats, and lends itself to an infinite variety of preparations and pairings.
