Tinto Sobrenatural from Chakana winery is a red wine blend of Tannat and Malbec grapes rich in nuances of the territory. Vinified thanks to fermentation by indigenous yeasts, it is aged in stainless steel tanks and barriques on the second use. An agile and flowing sip outlined by Frschi and crunchy fruits, accompanied by herbaceous and mineral notes.

Chakana ‘Sobrenatural’ Tinto is an Argentine bottle founded on minimal production intervention and capable of combining remarkable dynamism and a vigorous tannic structure. In fact, ‘Sobrenatural’ represents the artisanal line of the winery, made without any addition of sulfur dioxide and which can also boast organic and biodynamic certification. This red wine is composed of a blend of Tannat and Malbec, two varieties of French origin that have found notable success in South America, especially in Uruguay for the first and precisely in Argentina for the second.

As mentioned, the ‘Sobrenatural’ Tinto from Chakana comes from a blend of Tannat (80%) and Malbec (20%), grown in the Mendoza wine region at almost 1,000 meters above sea level. The vineyards, planted in deep silt and sandy soils, are managed in accordance with the principles of certified organic and biodynamic agriculture. Following the harvest, alcoholic fermentation occurs with the sole aid of the naturally present yeasts on the grapes

and in the winery environment. Aging takes place for a few months partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in used barriques. Throughout the entire winemaking process, the mass undergoes no clarification or filtration.

The Tinto Chakana ‘Sobrenatural’ has a ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose evokes notes of fresh fruit associated with herbaceous perceptions and mineral hints, while on the palate it highlights agile freshness, energetic tannins, and a good mineral vein. An Argentine label crisp and smooth that still requires important pairings, such as stewed meats, flavorful cheeses, or succulent first courses.
