Kobiashvili Vermouth Nobile Kobiashvili comes from the infusion in white wine of wormwood, red cinchona, rhubarb and walnut husk, a typical ingredient of Georgian gastronomic tradition. A rich, fragrant and bitter Vermouth that ages at least three months in terracotta amphorae, creating an unbreakable link between the tradition of Italian fortified wines and the typical Georgian style of winemaking

The Vermouth from Nobile Kobiashvili is configured as an aromatic wine that recalls the herbal tradition of Giorgi Kobiashvili's family, a Georgian entrepreneur and founder of the Nobile Kobiashvili brand. In fact, during his childhood, Giorgi would accompany his great-grandmother Verichka to gather wild herbs on the heights of the Kakheti region, a historical province of eastern Georgia. Verichka was also dedicated to winemaking and often used the herbs collected to infuse in wine to create decoctions and medicinal infusions, very similar to the concept of vermouth.

The Vermouth Nobile Kobiashvili originates from a selection of botanicals such as wormwood, red cinchona, rhubarb, and walnut husk, ingredients that are infused and then combined with a base of white wine. The vermouth is subsequently aged for at least 3 months in Georgian amphorae over 150 years old, known as “qveri” in Georgia. For the final bottling, a peculiar terracotta bottle is used, on which the noble coat of arms of the Kobiashvili family is printed, so that the sensory evolution continues even in the bottle.

To the eye, the Vermouth from the Nobile Kobiashvili brand presents itself with a brownish hue. Fragrant and deep hints of medicinal herbs, cinchona, walnut, and rhubarb characterize the olfactory profile. On the palate, it is rich and slightly bitter, well-balanced, with an intense and persistent progression that insists on the perceptions felt on the nose. An ideal vermouth to drink alone with two ice cubes and a slice of orange or to use in mixology for the preparation of classic cocktails like Negroni and Americano, or alternative ones, leaving room for creativity.
