The Mediterranean Fever Tree tonic water is produced with the addition of extracts of citrus fruits, flowers, and Mediterranean herbs to the classic recipe. It presents itself as a slightly more aromatic and delicate variant, but at the same time also drier and more fragrant than the traditional Premium Indian. It is perfect for being enjoyed neat or with ice, but it is also excellent for mixing with high-quality Gin and Vodka.
Like all Fever Tree tonic waters, the Mediterranean Tonic Water is made from a secret recipe of natural ingredients, including quinine extracted from the Cinchona Ledgeriana tree, popularly known in Congo as the “fever tree” due to its beneficial and antimalarial properties. Other key ingredients for producing this variant are flowers, rosemary, and other extracts of Mediterranean herbs, including lemon thyme from Provence, harvested and left to dry in the sun. This botanical herb gives the final product floral aromas, delicately herbaceous and citrusy, unmistakably Mediterranean.
The Mediterranean Tonic Water Fever Tree is a delicate, fresh, and fragrant tonic water. It is produced with a slightly lower amount of cane sugar than the classic Premium Indian, making it slightly drier and thirst-quenching.
