The Barbera d'Alba "Lablù" is a full-bodied and pleasantly fresh red wine that originates in the Langhe region of Piedmont. With a ruby-purple color, it releases aromas of cherry, blackberry, plum, spices, light hints of vanilla and earthy nuances. It has a well-structured body, generous and soft, with a pleasant fruity continuity and rich freshness.

The Barbera d'Alba “LaBlù” by Damilano is a beautiful version of one of the most typical and popular varieties of Piemonte. It is produced with pure Barbera, historically one of the grape varieties from Langhe and Monferrato. This label interprets Barbera in a classic way, trying to preserve its varietal exuberance, well balanced by aging in wood, which makes it softer and more harmonious. Generous and intense, it is a Barbera that offers fragrant aromas of red fruit, floral hints, and pleasant spicy sensations. Smooth and juicy, it is perfect for accompanying the flavorful first courses of the Piedmontese tradition.

The red Barbera d'Alba “LaBlù” is a wine with a typically territorial face, produced by one of the most well-known wineries in Langhe. The Damilano winery manages a prestigious vineyard park in the Barolo area, with some plots in the prized zones of: Cannubi, Brunate, Cerequio, and Liste, as well as vineyards in the municipalities of Barolo, Grinzane Cavour, Novello, and Monforte d'Alba. Despite the the progressive expansion of Nebbiolo cultivation in the Langhe region, Damilano has also preserved some vineyards of other historical grape varieties of the territory: Barbera, Dolcetto, and Moscato. Barbera, in particular, continues to be an important wine for the winery, a testament to the past and the desire to keep alive the customs of the territory.

The Barbera d'Alba “LaBlù” by Damilano is a red wine with a popular face, made from a grape variety that has been historically present for centuries in Piemonte. At the end of the harvest, the bunches are sent for fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks, with a maceration period on the skins of about two weeks. Before bottling, the wine matures for several months in large barrels. In the glass, it presents itself with a ruby color, with youthful purple and violet reflections. On the nose, it is intense, with aromas of ripe blackberry, cherry, red fruit, delicate hints of violet, and notes of vanilla, black pepper, and soft spices. The sip is lively and crunchy, with a fresh and savory finish.
