The Comte de Champagne Rosé is a great vintage expression, born from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay 100% Grand Cru, aged on the lees for 5 years. It is a complex and concentrated Champagne Rosé, rich in fruity, savory and fresh aromas, with scents of cherries, candied red fruits and oriental spices

The Rosé Brut “Comtes de Champagne” from the Taittinger winery is a Champagne of great class and depth obtained from a blend of grapes that sees the complexity of the Pinot Noir variety, which is predominantly present, joining the refinement of Chardonnay to create an exceptional vintage each year. The vineyards that participate in the assembly are all classified Grand Cru and are located in the municipalities of Ambonnay, Mailly, and Bouzy, in the Montagne de Reims district for the Pinot Noir variety, while the Chardonnay comes from the municipalities of Avize, Chouilly, and Le Mesnil Sur Oger, which are part of the Cote des Blancs district. The winery is a historic maison, based in Reims, founded in 1932 by Pierre Taittinger who, after serving in the army during World War I as the first cavalry officer, decided to purchase the land of the current estate.

The “Comtes de Champagne” Rosé Brut from Taittinger is a vintage Champagne, whose grapes are hand-picked and carefully selected around the month of September. The grapes are then pressed directly, using a vertical press for the Chardonnay, while the Pinot Noir remains in contact with the skins for a few hours after crushing to release the desired color. This is followed by alcoholic fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel containers, after which the blend of the two varieties is made and the liqueur de tirage is added for the sparkling process and secondary fermentation in bottle on its own lees for a minimum period of 60 months. At the end of the aging period, it concludes with the disgorgement and subsequent addition of the liqueur d’expedition to reach the desired dosage, as per the brut category.

The Rosé “Comtes de Champagne” Brut presents itself with a beautiful bright pink color with a fine and very persistent perlage. On the nose, intense aromas of ripe fruit and small red berry fruits appear, including raspberry, cherry, currant, and white peach, floral notes of dried white flowers, spicy hints of oriental spices, candied fruit, and dried fruit, finishing with light mineral hints.with light mineral hints. On the palate, it is rich, creamy, concentrated, and full-bodied, characterized by a tremendous minerality and a persistent finish played on fruity and spicy aromas. This Rosé from the Taittinger winery is a deep and complex Champagne but endowed with phenomenal grace and refinement, making it suitable for grand occasions.
