Chardonnay 'Borgo Tesis' Fantinel 2024

The Chardonnay “Borgo Tesis” from the Fantinel winery is an excellent example of how an international grape variety of global importance, both for quality and for the quantity produced, has found in the Grave Friulane area a territory where it can best express its characteristics. Soils of ancient origin mainly composed of gravel and sands formed by ancient glaciers, the Grave manage to make the wine produced from this immortal grape even more elegant and refined.

The “Borgo Tesis” Chardonnay from Fantinel grows its vineyards sheltered by the Dolomites, in the Tauriano estate. After a careful selection of the grapes, in order to preserve the quality of the fruits to be processed inside the winery, the fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks is awaited. The same material will be used for a few months of aging, it is therefore evident how the goal set by the winery is to preserve the best characteristics of Chardonnay while avoiding marking the the true soul of the grape variety during the processing.

Observing this wine from the Fantinel winery, the Chardonnay “Borgo Tesis” immediately stands out with its lively straw yellow surrounded by clear greenish reflections. The aroma is of a tenacious freshness, the note of crunchy fruit like peach and apple is clear.
