In fact, unlike other systems designed for wine preservation that merely delay oxidation, the Coravin completely preserves the characteristics of the precious liquid inside the bottle for a long time. The creator and founder of Coravin is Greg Lambrecht, who combined his knowledge of medical-grade needles with his great love for the world of wine.

The Coravin ‘Timeless Six Emerald Green’ is a peculiar tool designed to extract a variable amount of wine from the bottle while simultaneously injecting an equivalent volume of Argon, an inert gas that prevents contact with oxygen and thus the oxidation of the remaining wine. The ‘Timeless’ aerator quickly aerates the wine during pouring, ensuring the same result as a decanting of 60-90 minutes. The ‘Timeless’ Screw Caps allow the Coravin system to be used on wines bottled with screw caps. The remaining accessories are all functional for the standard use of the technology.
