A great mountain white that is born in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea and blends refined elegance and aromatic depth. "A' Puddara" Etna Bianco is the fruit of the passion and knowledge of the territory of one of the most prestigious realities of Etna. Tenuta di Fessina is located near Rovittello, but manages an estate with parcels located in different areas of the volcano, carefully selected and managed as true company crus. The label A' Puddara,is born on the southern slope of Etna in contrada Manzuedda, near Biancavilla. The Carricante vineyards are located at an altitude of 900 meters above sea level in an area characterized by extraordinary brightness and significant temperature variations between day and night. The vines were planted in 1950 and produce grapes of exceptional aromatic concentration. The clusters are gently pressed and the must ferments directly in large 35-hectoliter French oak barrels. The wine matures in wood for 6-8 months before completing its aging in the bottle.
The Etna Bianco "A' Puddara" from Tenuta di Fessina is one of the qualitative peaks of the volcano and perfectly expresses the typical character of the wines of the territory, characterized by crystalline finesse. It is a bottle reserved for those who prefer vibrant tension, essentiality, and purity rather than enveloping softness or dense richness. It presents a bright straw yellow color. The olfactory profile recalls the floral scents of orange blossom and broom, notes of zest of lime, ripe citron, aromas of white-fleshed fruit, medicinal herbs, hints of graphite and flint. On the palate, it is clear and vertical, with a deep and long sip, decisively extending towards a savory and very fresh finish.
