The Nebbiolo by Parusso is a perfect example of the elegance and refinement of this grape variety. Notes of rose and violet open the bouquet, which then shifts to ripe fruit and sweet spices. The sip is of great drinkability, with sweet and fine tannins in the finish.

Nebbiolo is the calling card of the Parusso winery, a clear daily expression of the elegance that Langa has to offer when interpreted so brilliantly. Enhancing native grape varieties and seeking a style that combines depth and immediate drinkability: these are the two main beliefs of the Parusso family, which owns 23 hectares of vineyards in one of the most vocated municipalities in the world for wine production, namely Monforte d'Alba. Liquids and grapes that are indeed a faithful expression of the territory, but that are interpreted and supported in such a way as to soften youthful roughness, often thanks to aging in barriques, which gives grape varieties such as Nebbiolo a more caressing and velvety texture.

The Nebbiolo wine comes from pure grapes of the same name, grown entirely in the Monforte d'Alba area. The approach in the vineyard is respectful and sustainable, so much so that all chemical substances or pesticides are banned. The harvest is strictly manual, so that the selection of the grapes is as accurate as possible, and only the best bunches are transported to the winery. After destemming, a rather short maceration on the skins of the must takes place, so as not to extract aggressive tannins, and alcoholic fermentation begins spontaneously and without the addition of sulfur dioxide. The aging of the liquid then takes place in barriques for a duration of 10-12 months, in contact with its indigenous yeasts.

The Nebbiolo appears in the glass with a lively ruby color, more pronounced in its youth. The nose is a bouquet of flowers, where fine patterns referring to wild rose, inevitable in Nebbiolo, alternate with ripe cherry. A whispered picture that unfolds little by little, but with great precision. The sip, as per the unmistakable style of the Parusso family, integrates a sweet and tapered tannin that caresses the palate and conquers it. Velvet glove, fades into a long persistence of spices and ripe fruit. Extremely enjoyable already now, hard to drink better at this price!
