The Pinot Noir Reserve 'Poggio della Buttinera' Travaglino is a rich and enveloping red wine that best expresses the great elegance of Pinot. It ages for one year in wood, acquiring pleasant spicy nuances that accompany the most classic notes of wild strawberry and cherry. It pairs well with vegetarian first courses, game, or aged cheeses.

local custom, the company has focused on enhancing Pinot Nero and Riesling, without forgetting the native red grape variety Croatina. The wine is made exclusively with grapes from the Poggio della Buttinera vineyard, considered a true company cru, for the consistency with which it produces superior quality grapes every year. The parcel is located at an altitude of 230 meters above sea level, with a southeast exposure. The soils are clayey-calcareous in nature, with the presence of sands and pebbles, well-draining and particularly suitable for a very demanding grape variety like Pinot Nero. The grapes are partially destemmed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 22-24 °C, with a maceration on the skins lasting several weeks. The wine matures for a year in tonneau and barrique of French oak and ages for a year in bottle before commercialization.

Declined in Burgundy style, the label surprises with its composure and expressive balance. To the eye, it presents a beautiful ruby red with slight garnet reflections. Intense and elegant, it reveals aromas reminiscent of red currant, raspberry, wild strawberries, cherry, notes of underbrush, and delicate spices. On the palate, it highlights a fine and mature tannic texture, enveloping a harmonious and rich sip, complex and long, culminating in a fresh and very persistent finish.
