Cristom Vineyards' Pinot Noir Cuvée Jefferson is a red wine born in the Willamette Valley in Oregon, where the international grape has found its optimal home. Vinified only with indigenous yeasts and aged in French oak, it reveals itself for a pale ruby color crossed by purple hues and discloses intense hints of black cherry, cherries in alcohol and blueberries, with spicy notes of licorice, cinnamon and undergrowth. The sip is velvety and of good structure with an ethereal finish

The Pinot Noir "Jefferson" from Cristom Vineyards is a prestigious made in USA version of Burgundy red. It originates in Oregon, in one of the areas, outside the native French territory, most suited for cultivating a difficult and demanding grape variety like Pinot Noir. The cool and temperate climate and the suitable soils allow for the maturation of healthy and aromatically rich clusters. Careful vinification and a long aging in wood give rise to an elegant and refined label, which expresses all the charm of the delicate aromas of berries, enriched by notes of tertiary evolution, which amplify its taste spectrum making it multifaceted and complex.

The Pinot Noir "Jefferson" wine is produced at the Eileen Vineyard estate of Cristom Vineyards, in the heart of the Willamette Valley. The estate is named after the founder's wife, Eileen Gerrie.
