Raboso by Cecchetto is a typical red wine from Piave area, charcaterized by depth, structure, freshness and tannic energy. It is vinified in oak barrels and it is aged for 24 months in barriques and in big barrels. It springs out ripe notes of fruits in alcohol, swete spices, tobacco and wet earth and the taste is full-bodied, warm and tannic

The Raboso from Giorgio Cecchetto is a red wine from Veneto that comes from one of the most iconic grape varieties of the Piave viticulture, the Raboso. A true thoroughbred, which only a few winemakers are able to cultivate without being caught off guard by its authority and which, to express itself at its best, requires long aging. For this reason, the Cecchetto winery lets it rest for as long as 39 months between steel and wood, having the necessary patience to smooth out its more "angry" edges. The result is a bottle of excellent sensory depth, which engages from the very first moments in a memorable tasting.

This Raboso Cecchetto originates from vineyards located in parcels of mainly alluvial and gravelly land. The Raboso is a variety difficult to tame, which shows its character already in the vineyard, with a very long growing cycle, as it is one of the first grapes to bud and one of the last to be harvested. Moreover, the winery decides to harvest it at a stage of light overripeness, to have bunches full of aromas. The must ferments on the skins in oak vats for a total of 12 days. The final aging takes place in three phases: first 15 months in steel, then one year in barrique, and finally another 12 months in large oak barrels. At the end of this long period, the wine is ready for bottling.

The red wine Raboso from Giorgio Cecchetto presents itself to the eye with a color reminiscent of ruby, slightly tending towards garnet. Generous and intense the nose, which alternates notes of fruit with spicy effluvia and herbal touches. On the palate, it has excellent body, warm, with a slightly spicy taste, supported by a nice fresh imprint; the tannic structure is indeed present, but always smooth. A label that has a strong and determined nature, which reflects with great authenticity the character of the variety from which it is obtained.
