The Riesling Trocken Nonnengarten by Clemens Busch is a German white wine from the Moselle, obtained from the homonymous vineyard located on red slate soils that brings naturally spicy aromas and a body more intense than usual. It expresses aromas of lime zest and green apples, with smoky details and cloves while on the palate it is very fresh and salty, with great aromatic persistence.

The Riesling Trocken Nonnengarten by Clemens Busch is a wine produced in the German region of Mosel with the noblest and most famous white grape variety of Northern Europe. We are in an area characterized by extreme viticulture of the highest quality, where Riesling expresses itself at levels of absolute excellence, giving some of the best whites in the world. The Trocken version, dry and without residual sugar, brings into the glass the freshness and intensity typical of the grape variety, accompanied by the mineral notes that come from the precious slate soils.

The Nonnengarten Riesling Trocken by Clemens Busch is produced near the small village of Pünderich, in Mosel. The estate is divided into various plots, each with different soil composition characteristics, but all managed since 1984 following the principles of organic farming. A choice that involves many hours of hard work in the vineyard on steep slopes overlooking the river, but which pays off with healthier and stronger vines and grapes of excellent quality. In the vineyard, in addition to sulfur and copper, tea and herbal blends are used,of aromatic herbs, which promote the vitality and resistance of plants to diseases. The grapes come from a single vineyard, located in the cru of Nonnengarten, with a west-facing exposure and red slate soils. Fermentation takes place in large oak barrels and the wine then rests in barrel for about 9 months.

The Riesling Trocken Nonnengarten is a classic and typical expression of the Mosel. A territory that has created an indissoluble bond between the Riesling grape and the rocky soils rich in slate. The color is light straw yellow, with bright greenish reflections. On the nose, it opens with delicate citrus aromas of lime, green apple notes, spicy, floral, and dried fruit hints. The attack on the palate is vibrant, with delicate fruit, a pleasant saline vein, and a very fresh finish.
