The Schioppettino from the Teresa Raiz winery is a red wine with a spicy profile and good body, made in the Colli Orientali del Friuli and briefly aged in barrels and steel. The olfactory sensations lean towards notes of red fruit and berries, seasoned with a typical peppery note. The sip is supported by an elegant and well-structured body, marked by appreciable freshness.

the end of the harvest, with the selection of the best bunches in the vineyard, the grapes are sent for fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine matures for several months in French oak barriques, then for 6 months in steel tanks and completes its aging in the bottle before being marketed.

The Schioppettino wine by Teresa Raiz is the red that has made the history of Colli Orientali. Despite the arrival of many international grape varieties, it is still today the variety that produces the most interesting wines of the territory with the greatest character and personality. Visually, it presents a rather intense ruby red color, with bright and violet reflections. On the nose, it offers intense aromas reminiscent of wild blackberry, blackcurrant, blueberry, cherry, red plum, spicy notes, black pepper, hints of underbrush and humus. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with a mature tannic texture, rich and expressive fruit aromas, leading to a finish of good freshness and taste persistence.
