The Sylvaner from Pacherhof is a semi-aromatic white wine of medium body and good freshness, aged for a few months in large barrels. It has a fine and delicate bouquet of freshly cut hay, herbs, fruit, and white flowers. On the palate, it is crisp, mineral, fresh, and fruity, with great persistence.

The Sylvaner from Pacherhof is a semi-aromatic wine from Alto Adige characterized by a varied bouquet on the nose, a prelude to a captivating and fresh sip, endowed with excellent incisiveness. The Sylvaner, a variety that expresses itself at noteworthy quality levels precisely in the Valle d'Isarco - where the winery is located - is cultivated with great care, ensuring that only perfectly ripe grapes are harvested. A refined and precise bottle, to be savored with pleasure until the last drop.

The Pacherhof Sylvaner originates from those owned vineyards located 650 meters above sea level, characterized by an average age of the plants of about 35 years. The exposure is ideal, facing south, and the soils are characterized by a subsoil composed of sand, gravel, and clay, rich in minerals. The temperature variation between day and night is excellent; remember that we are in a decidedly northern wine area, ideal for enhancing the aromas within the Sylvaner grapes. The must ferments in containersof steel and subsequently the wine is racked for several months in wooden barrels, where it remains to mature.

The Pacherhof Sylvaner presents itself visually with a straw-yellow color, slightly more tending towards greenish at the rim. The nose opens with notes of grass and cut hay, enriched by more fruity hints and slight touches that lean towards floral. On the palate, it is light-bodied tending to medium, with a refreshing and fruity sip that highlights the harmony and overall elegance that reign during the drinking; it finally closes with a nice tasting persistence. A bottle that finds its gastronomic fulfillment paired with seafood and shellfish: if you want a perfect pairing, try it with spaghetti with clams.
