Completo' Carussin 2023 - 100cl

From the collaboration between producer Bruna Ferro of the Carussin winery and the Norwegian importer Non Dos comes the ‘Completo’, a light and carefree red wine for everyday enjoyment. In particular, this bottle originates from the idea of Non Dos, a promoter of various innovative projects during the decade-long collaboration with Bruna, to bottle the wine from the must of pressing all the red grapes vinified by Carussin. For the packaging, a one-liter bottle sealed with a screw cap was chosen, an element that emphasizes the carefree personality of this label.

Carussin ‘Completo’ comes from a blend of red grapes grown following the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture. The harvest is done entirely by hand, and the grapes are then transferred to the winery where they are traditionally vinified into red wine. For the ‘Completo’, only the must from pressing, that resulting from the pressing of the pomace, is used. The alcoholic fermentation process,made in fiberglass tanks, it is entrusted to the only yeasts present on the grapes and in the winemaking environment. The wine is finally bottled without undergoing any filtration.

To the eye, the 'Completo' by Carussin expresses an intense purple-red color. Vivid fruity aromas of plum, blueberry, and blackberry describe the olfactory range, surrounded by floral hints of violet and dog rose. On the palate, it is round and fresh at the same time, with excellent balance, and soft tannins accompanying the smooth fruity finish. For these characteristics, the 'Completo' is configured as an ideal wine for a carefree and convivial drink, for example during barbecues with friends or picnics outdoors.
