The Piedmontese red wine Nebbiolo d'Alba "Cascinotto" by Claudio Alario is a product that embodies all the magic of the terroir of the Piedmontese Langhe. It is a bottle in which Nebbiolo, a varietal that is wonderfully found in this area, is expressed on the typical floral notes to the nose, which open to an active and energetic sip, in which absolute balance reigns. Nebbiolo d'Alba "Cascinotto" comes from the grapes of an important vine for Piedmontese viticulture, Nebbiolo. This variety has always been able to give life to great red wines, which Claudio Alario winery cultivates with the guyot system, in vineyards that are about 40 years old. The bunches, harvested around mid-October, are destemmed, and the selected berries are pressed. The must obtained ferments in thermo-conditioned roto-fermenters, and then continues with the aging, in which the wine rests for a period of 20 months in French oak barrels, new to 50% and for the remaining part of the second pass. At the end of this aging the wine is ready to be bottled.

This "Cascinotto" Nebbiolo d'Alba is announced with a beautiful ruby red color. The nose resonates with floral notes of rose and violet, enriched by a background of spicy aromas and touches of berries. The mouthfeel is full-bodied, elegant and refined, with a sip in perfect taste-olfactory balance.
