The Col Vetoraz winery of Miotto family begins its activity in 1838, settling on the hill of Col Vetoraz and started to grow and to develop Prosecco and Cartizze. The Col Vetoraz and the Mont Cartizze with their composite layers, are an ideal habitat to power and savory dies on the vine Glera that gives us the Prosecco. In 1993 Francesco Miotto, a descendant of this historic family in the area of Valdobbiadene, along with Paolo De Bortoli and Loris dall'Acqua, enologist, gave birth to the current composition of the winery Col Vetoraz going to create a diverse and challenging working group. The passion and love for this land have stimulated culture and research, essential for the production of a wine of great quality, as are the wines of Col Vetoraz. The winery works to pursue the goal of expressing the uniqueness of the terroir of Valdobbiadene through the grape, without removing or adding anything: the respect for nature is the first step towards the production of a great sparkling wine. Today the winery is an undisputed value and a guarantee of quality for the area of Valdobbiadene and for the production of Prosecco.
