Barbaresco "Sorì Tildin" is an elegant and precise Piedmontese red, well delineated in each of its organoleptic components, as much in its varietal and primary scents as in its secondary and tertiary ones. This is a bottle that belongs to the excellence of Italian oenology, and that confirms how the Gaja winery is always with merit at the top of the esteem not only in Italy but all over the world. A label with seductive aromas, which opens to the palate with a broad sip, satisfying the drink without tiring it, indeed enhancing it with a truly enviable fresh vein. To be tasted at least once in a lifetime!
This Barbaresco wine, "Sorì Tildin", is made by the Gaja winery from pure clusters of Piedmont's quintessential red grape variety, Nebbiolo. The grapes are cultivated with great care and respect, selecting only the best bunches to ensure the best possible results. Once harvested and vinified, they face a double ageing process, carried out first for 12 months in barrique and then for another year in large barrels. At the end of these two years of total maturation, the wine is ready to be bottled and put on the market.
"Sorì Tildin" is a Barbaresco that reveals itself to the eye with a ruby red colour, tending to garnet in the rim. The nose is dominated by concentrated and enveloping sensations, which, from a world of balsamic and spicy notes, head towards a set of fruity aromas, very well presented. In the mouth, it is full-bodied, full and round, with a sip marked by a pleasant freshness and finely integrated tannins; it closes with an almost eternal, truly persistent finish. A great wine, which always ranks vintage after vintage, at the top of the main Italian and international reference guides, making Gaja one of the most appreciated and sought-after wineries in the world.
