Beer 'Nora' Baladin - 75cl
ArtisanalNora" is a spicy amber beer by Baladin inspired by African culture and dedicated to the Berber-Algerian origins of the mother of two children. Obtained from a mixture of spices (including ginger and myrrh), citrus peel and Khorosan wheat (rediscovered in Egypt), it is naturally labeled with the name "Egyptian Beer". An explosion of intense aromas that recall the oriental spices, the resin, the cereals and the exotic citrus fruits invite a fresh, tasty and decidedly rich nuance and perfume that reminds Africa!
Baladin's “Nora” is a beer with a beautiful amber color, characterized by the presence of spicy notes that distinctly define its aromas and taste. It is a label with great personality, paying homage to the classic aromas of the Maghreb territories and more generally of the African continent. It is a label that fully belongs to the range of Baladin Spiced Beers, produced with particular grains and a harmonious and enveloping mix of spices, which constitutes the true charm of this original creation by master brewer Teo Musso.
The “Nora” Beer from the Piedmontese brewery Baladin was born from the desire to create a beer inspired by African atmospheres. It is produced with barley malt, wheat malt, Egyptian khorasan wheat, hops, citrus peels, and fine oriental spices. It is from this original mix of ingredients that a strong and recognizable character emerges. It is a beer without compromises, loved instinctively from the first sip, and is bottled unpasteurized and unfiltered, to maintain all its fragrance and vital expressive energy. It is certainly among the most distinctive labels of the brewery and is a demonstration of the maturity and awareness reached by a craft company that began producing beers in the mid-90s and today is an undisputed reference point for the entire sector.
The “Nora” Beer produced by Baladin confirms Teo Musso's talent in creating beers with a profile that is not only original but also territorial, linked to a land and its most typical and authentic aromas. In the glass, it presents a slightly veiled amber color, with brilliant reflections of antique gold and mahogany. The foam is fine, thin, and announces a bouquet offering aromas of ripe yellow fruit, hints of tropical fruit, citrus peel, ginger, oriental spices, myrrh, and incense. The sip is fresh, intense, with a fruity mid-palate, featuring aromas of cereals, dried fruit, honey, citrus, and resin. The finish is long and persistent, with a return to spicy notes. A must-tryabsolutely paired with the flavors of North African cuisine or with the spicy dishes of Indian cuisine. Perfect to accompany a couscous or a tajine.
