The Etna Bianco Superiore "Musmeci" of Tenuta di Fessina embodies the freshness of perennial snow and the warmth of the highest volcano in Italy, the Etna. Soils and microclimates totally different, yet places within walking distance from each other; this is the main characteristic of the wines produced on the slopes of the volcano in Sicily; wines that make the minerality and freshness of their main characteristics. The company Tenuta di Fessina is a project of Silvia Maestrelli; Silvia in 2007 decided to realize his dream, to produce wine. And she does so by purchasing an old vineyard Nerello Mascalese; a vineyard that contains, at its center, a really treasure: a mill of the eighteenth century, built of lava stone, used as a wine press for pressing of the marc. Another feature of all its "Musmeci" White is the vineyard where it was born: in Milo, on vineyards in 1920, facing south and situated at about 1000 meters above sea level; history, tradition and unique microclimate. These are the factors that make the Etna Bianco Superiore "Musmeci" of Tenuta di Fessina one of the best expressions of Sicily. Carricante in a purity that is emerging on the nose with aromas sharp, but always delicate herbs and flint. Extremely long, full of character and personality, the Etna Bianco Superiore "Musmeci" of Tenuta di Fessina is a Carricante in purity that will make you emotion and dream.
