Champagne Blanc "Absolu" comes from pure Chardonnay grapes grown in the very suitable parcel in the Lieu Dit Les Grands Blancs and remains permanently on the lees for at least 6 years. The result is a Blanc de Blancs for a refined, broad, complex and creamy sip, with mineral notes, dried fruit, orange blossom, citrus peel and sweet hints of pastry and honey

The Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs “Blanc Absolu” is the label of Minière F&R dedicated to enhancing the best characteristics of a great Chardonnay in purity. It is born from a selection of grapes from a single parcel of the domaine, particularly suited and always known for the excellent quality of its production. It is a Champagne of extraordinary expressive purity, fresh, taut, and mineral, characterized by floral and citrus aromas, accompanied by refined evolving notes of mature Chardonnay.  It is a cuvée of great charm and elegance, ideal for tasting with seafood or with dishes based on white meats and delicate flavors.

The Blanc de Blancs “Blanc Absolu” is a Brut Champagne that originates from the northwest of the Montagne de Reims, where the Maison Minière F&R has cultivated an 8-hectare property for several generations. The vineyards are located in the area of Hermonville, characterized by sandy-clay soils rich in minerals. The Chardonnay grapes come exclusively from the cultivated parcel in the lieu dit Les Grands Blancs. After the soft pressing of the grapes, fermentation takes place in French oak barrels. The vins clairs mature for a period of 6-8 months in barrels, on the fine lees with periodic bâtonnage, without undergoing malolactic fermentation. At the time of blending, 20% of reserve wines from previous vintages is added to the base wines of the vintage. The second fermentation occurs in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method, with a sur lattes aging of at least 6 years before disgorgement.

The “Blanc Absolu” Champagne Brut Blanc de Blancs, produced by the maison Minière F&R, is a version of Chardonnay that well reflects the character of freshness of the terroir of Hermonville. Visually, it presents a bright light yellow color, with a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it offers refined scents of orange blossom and acacia flowers, fragrant aromas of citrus, lemon and cedar zest, aromas of ripe fruit, honeyed and pastry-like softness, notes of bread crust and slightly toasted sensations, of almond and
