"Polzina" is a Curtefranca Bianco made from pure Chardonnay grapes, aged in steel for 6 months. The young aromas of crunchy fruit and wild herbs invite a delicate, agile tasting with fresh persistence. Organic Wine

The White "Polzina" is a white wine with a seductive texture, a masterful blend of dynamism and structure, which once again confirms the enormous potential of Chardonnay when planted in favorable microclimates. Almost a century and a half of history, sealed in 1971 with the production of the first bottle of Franciacorta: the path of the Barone Pizzini winery is one of constant renewal and continuous growth, both agriculturally and in the winemaking phase. Sensitivity and attention towards the grape and territory led to the decision in 1998 to convert the vineyards to organic farming, and in 2002 to the production of the first bottle of organic Franciacorta. 47 hectares spread across 25 vineyards, where Chardonnay reigns supreme, followed closely by Pinot Noir, and to a lesser extent by Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc.

The wine "Polzina" comes from pure Chardonnay grapes entirely cultivated in the Franciacorta area and sourced from organic farming. The vines rest on morainic soils and are cultivated in

Guyot with medium-density plantings. After careful selection of the grapes and direct pressing, fermentation takes place in stainless steel at controlled temperature. The aging also occurs in steel, to preserve the freshness and fragrance characteristics of the liquid. While favoring a lively and seemingly simple style, the wines of Barone Pizzini have a great aging potential.

The "Polzina" from Barone Pizzini has a bright straw-yellow color. From the first sniff, it reveals liveliness and crispness, with hints of golden apple, citrus, and underlying, but no less important, mineral bursts that complete an inviting and varied picture. The sip combines freshness and substance in a millimetric way, creating a liquid where harmony and balance are never lacking. A surprising bottle, distinguished by a price-quality ratio that is almost moving. Boundless gastronomic versatility. A daily wine that we would always want in our cellar!
