The Frappato from Tasca d’Almerita is a fresh and fragrant red wine from Eastern Sicily. This variety was originally used as a blending grape, but the winery chose to plant some hectares in Regaleali and vinify it in purity. On the nose, it opens with hints of crunchy fruit, with a slight citrus note of blood orange. The palate is dynamic and energetic, with fine tannins and a lively freshness. Ideal paired with a pizza with eggplant and salted ricotta.
