Gin “Ki No tea” is a precious Japanese Gin from high quality botanicals, of which particular leaves of green tea. It has an elegant and delicate charcater, but also intense, with aromas of citrus fruits, juniper berries and rosty green tea

The Gin Dry “Ki No Tea” The Kyoto Distillery is one of the latest distillates produced by Alex Davies and Masami Onishi, the owners of the distillery, always ready to experiment with new solutions to create original and high-quality products. It starts from a traditional alcoholic base obtained from rice processing to which various botanical elements are added: in this case, two important tea varieties stand out, capable of imparting their characteristics to the final product. A bottle that, tasted with closed eyes, transports us to a silent Japanese “tea house”: if you are passionate about unique Gins, then you cannot miss the “Ki No Tea”.

This “Ki No Tea” The Kyoto Distillery is a Gin that originates from a rice alcoholic base, in which the various botanical components that contribute to shaping its profile are infused. In addition to the classic juniper and other ingredients, the uniqueness of this label lies in the selection of tea leaves used. The distillery chooses specifically the tencha and gyokuro varieties cultivated in Okunoyama, which are capable of imparting intense and deep aromas to the Gin. Each category of “botanicals” is distilled separately and the blending takes place at the end of the processing.

The Gin Dry “Ki No Tea” signed The Kyoto Distillery develops in the glass with a completely crystalline and colorless hue, characterized by beautiful clarity. Subtle and refined on the nose, it unfolds on a weave of delicate aromas that evoke green tea and citrus, along with a background dominated by the typical scent of juniper. On the palate, it has a medium body, with a soft and warm sip, focused on a spicy taste and a final flavor that recalls tea. A novelty within the range produced by the Japanese distillery, born from the collaboration with the tea grower Hori-Shichimeien.
