The "Lodovico" by Tenuta Biserno is a prestigious and rare red wine that is made from a blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot from a small parcel near Bibbona called "Vigna Lodovico", which hosts a unique and extraordinarily terroir suited. A high-level Supertuscan, produced in very few examples, capable of expressing a masterful balance between power and class, through a deep and linear sip, full-bodied and velvety tannins, with a bouquet of ripe red fruit, aromatic herbs and closure balsamic

single parcel, which has always stood out in the estate for its superior quality production. The grapes of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot are harvested at full maturity and vinified separately, following the different harvest times. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, with a maceration on the skins of about a month. The wine then matures for 16 months in French oak barriques, 80% of which are new.

The wine “Lodovico” from the Tenuta di Biserno of Lodovico Antinori is a great red, which combines the Tuscan tradition of a historic brand of the territory with the international charm of noble Bordeaux grape varieties. The elegance and freshness of Cabernet Franc blend with the fruity softness of Merlot and the spicy notes and dense tannins of Petit Verdot. The result is a deep ruby red wine with slight garnet reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of small red and black berries, currants, blackberries, blueberries, ripe cherries, spicy hints, medicinal herbs, and balsamic plants. Intense and structured, it has an important tannic texture, dense and complex aromas, and a harmonious and persistent finish.
