The Prosecco Rosé "Argeo" is a sparkling rosé with a lively, fresh, and cheerful sip, produced with Glera and Pinot Noir grapes. With aromas of small forest fruits, white flowers, wild strawberries, and aromatic herbs, it expresses a drinkable, delicate, and slender body, with great drinkability and overwhelming freshness.

The Prosecco Rosé Brut “Argeo” by Ruggeri originates from the Veneto area of Valdobbiadene, a territory where the Ruggeri winery is historically rooted, since the current building stands where the “Case Bisoi” used to be, which already in the second half of the 1800s produced wine in this territory, a craft that has been passed down from generation to generation. The goal of the winery is to enhance and preserve the territory of Valdobbiadene, ensuring that it can always yield the best fruits: an extreme attention and care for the centennial vines, as well as the desire to discover and trace new paths are objectives that are pursued daily.

The harvest is done by hand; the Glera grapes are then vinified in white, while the Pinot Nero grapes are vinified in red to then blend the two base wines for the sparkling process; this is followed by a slow refermentation and a resting on the lees for about 2 months.

The Brut Rosé “Argeo” Prosecco by Ruggeri presents itself with a light pink color reminiscent of peach blossoms in spring, and its perlage is lively with fine bubbles; the nose is intoxicated by a range of aromas with the aromatic notes of Glera, delicate hints of underbrush, but also a balsamic note and rosemary in the finish. On the palate, the wine expresses its liveliness and freshness, with also savory hints, offering a long and silky persistence. It is excellent with light appetizers, pesto or mushroom sauces, but also pairs well with vegetable dishes; the pairing with fruit desserts is also intriguing. The wine is recommended for summer evenings with friends in a countryside setting or for family lunches, to share the the fruit of the work of a winery that looks to the future with a project of innovation and preservation of history.
