The Ron Gran Reserva 10 Years from the Eminente brand is a fine Cuban rum characterized by deep toasted sensations. The soul of the Eminente distillery is César Martí, who in 2009 became the youngest Maestro Ronero in Cuba, a title currently held by only 10 people on the island. The Gran Reserva 10 Years Eminente Ron is produced from a base of 80% fine sugarcane molasses distillate, distilled to 75% alcohol by volume and aged for 10 long years in wooden barrels. After this long process, the aguardiente is combined with 20% of “light rum”, also aged for 10 long years, and the blend is then subjected to a 3-month finishing in small French oak barrels before final bottling.
