
Tequila 'Cupreata' Curado
Tequila "Cupreata" from the Mexican Curado distillery is a unique label that is perfect for mixing or for enjoying straight after dinner. Blue agave piñas harvested in the highlands of the province of Jalisco are used to make it. After studying the Brix degree of each agave, the master distillers begin the infusion. The soft golden yellow colour introduces scents of fresh flowers and sweet spices while the palate is surprised by a fresh, full and satisfying sip.
The "Cupreata" Tequila by Curado is born in a winery managed with passion and experience by three families who divide the tasks daily to produce Tequila of rare quality. The secret of the Estes, the Camarena, and the Vantaguard lies in the curados, a name given to Pulques that are then infused with natural aromas and macerated with various spirits combined with herbs, spices, and fruits. This Tequila also has the distinction of being the first to be produced from the infusion of cooked Agave, a practice that gives the distillate a complexity of rare and unique aromas and flavors.
The lush Agave plants selected for the "Cupreata" Tequila by Curado are harvested and then cooked within a range of 3 to 6 hours to keep their intrinsic properties intact. Subsequently, for about 5 days, they are infused in steel tanks with Agave Cupreata preparations without any added sugars and without subsequent aging in wood.
