Brave New Spirits Blended Scotch Whisky ‘Lighthouse Unpeated’ originates from a blend of whisky from the Highlands and the Lowlands. These distillates are made with pure Scottish barley malt that is ground and infused in hot water. The malt wort is then subjected to a few days of alcoholic fermentation and the mass thus obtained is distilled in pot stills. The liquid obtained from the distillation process is then channeled into oak barrels previously used for the maturation of bourbon or Spanish sherry, where it will age for a long period before blending and final bottling.
