This sparkling wine house has always been at the forefront of innovation, both technical and commercial, establishing itself as one of the most glamorous Maisons in all of Champagne. The sparkling wines of Moet & Chandon accompany the most important moments of joy and celebration, from birthdays to wedding anniversaries, through Christmas and, indeed, New Year's Eve.
The Rosé ‘Imperial End of Year’ Champagne Brut Moet & Chandon consists of a blend of the 3 main varieties of Champagne: Pinot Noir (40-50%), Pinot Meunier (30-40%) and Chardonnay (10-20%). In particular, Pinot Noir brings intensity and structure to the blend, Pinot Meunier adds softness while Chardonnay provides great elegance. To the vintage wine vinified entirely in stainless steel tanks,a 20-30% addition of vin de reserve is added, with the sparkling base thus obtained being bottled and added with liqueur de tirage for the second fermentation according to the Champenoise Method. The aging on the lees in glass lasts for about 36 months, after which degorgement is performed followed by a Brut dosage of 7 g/l of residual sugars.
The color of Champagne Brut Rosé Moet & Chandon ‘Imperial End of Year’ is a pale pink with coppery reflections and fine, persistent effervescence. The aromatic spectrum expresses vibrant and intense sensations of red fruits, including wild strawberry, raspberry, and cherry, enriched by floral notes of rose and spicy hints of pepper. Fresh and taut on the palate, with excellent balance, characterized by a pleasant fruity and floral persistence that recalls the sensations perceived on the nose.
