The choice of a partial aging in ceramic containers allows for a slow and delicate micro-oxygenation, which enriches the wine with refined evolving notes that complete the classic floral and fruity bouquet of the grape variety. It is a harmonious and enveloping white, characterized by a pleasant taste persistence.
The “Balbinvs” is a Vermentino in Anfora made by one of the most interesting wineries in the Scansano area. Terenzi is a young reality that has been committed for about twenty years to enhancing the territory of Maremma Toscana with labels that authentically interpret the character of the place. To create this label, only the best bunches from a single plot of the estate were carefully selected, a true company cru, characterized by soils rich in limestone, which gives the wine a particular finesse and elegance. The harvest takes place in the second half of September and the grapes are immediately subjected to soft pressing. The free-run must ferments in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 18 °C. Before bottling, the wine rests for several months in steel and in 400-liter ceramic eggs.
