The Cabernet Franc from Russiz Superiore is a red wine from Collio with a soft, rich, and refined sip, aged for at least 12 months in oak barrels. It offers aromas of cherry, berries, spices, vegetal notes of bell pepper, and Mediterranean herbs, with a slight toasted finish. On the palate, it displays elegance, class, and breadth, enclosed in a medium intensity body, with soft tannins and pleasant freshness

The Cabernet Franc Russiz Superiore is a red wine endowed with velvety elegance and richness of fruit, a liquid testimony of one of the most prestigious wineries in Collio. The names of Marco Felluga and Russiz Superiore are undoubtedly among those that have contributed the most to enhancing the fame of Collio in the wine sector, also characterized by a centuries-old history that began in the second half of the 1800s and has grown to reach the current level of production quality. The unique soil matrix, distinguished by the presence of the so-called Ponca, allows the vineyards located in the municipalities of Farra d'Isonzo, San Floriano del Collio, Oslavia, and Cormòns to express their great potential and to produce wines of unmistakable finesse and stylistic definition, recognized for their high quality consistency both in Italy and worldwide.

The Cabernet Franc Russiz Superiore is obtained from pure grapes of the same name, from vineyards located in Capriva del Friuli at altitudes ranging from 80 to 200 meters above sea level, resting on clay-limestone soils. In the vineyard, careful manual selection of the grapes is practiced, which must reach their perfect degree of ripeness, while in the cellar, cold maceration, alcoholic fermentation, and aging in small oak barrels for 12 months is carried out, followed by a resting period of 6 months in the bottle.

The Russiz Cabernet Franc fills the glass with its intense and impenetrable ruby hue. An elegant and truly broad olfactory impact, characterized by hints of marasca, blackberry, tomato, and bell pepper, in an intriguing dialectic between fruity and vegetal notes. On the palate, the liquid reveals itself to be seductive and captivating, a filling wine endowed with a velvety texture and great class. The finish is long, for this red of remarkable caliber.
