The Montemarino by Cascina degli Ulivi is a white wine made from grapes of old vines worked in biodynamic and macerated for 3 days on the skins. On the nose it is generous, with notes of ripe fruit, hazelnut and caramel, with scents of flint. On the palate it is elegant, markedly mineral and savory, fresh and consistent. Artisanal and Triple A Wine

meticulously and attentively, maintaining very low yields and respecting the natural balance of the territory, following the precepts of biodynamics and intervening (only if necessary) with natural preparations, copper, and a bit of sulfur. In the cellar, spontaneous alcoholic fermentation and brief maceration on the skins continue. Finally, the wine does not undergo any addition of sulfur dioxide.

The Montemarino wine presents itself in the glass with an intense straw-yellow color that shifts towards golden. The nose is complex and multifaceted, expressing itself with the overwhelming graduality of great artisanal wines, unfolding in succession notes of ripe fruit, hazelnut, caramel, and salty bursts. The sip is splendid, rhythmic, and vital but at the same time has a rich and suave texture, elongated by a remarkable salty push. An indispensable icon of Italian wine.
