"Terre Lontane" is a rosé wine of great freshness and with a simple and delicate drinkability that originates in the heart of Sila from Gaglioppo and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. With a rosé mantle and coppery reflections, it reveals a slender, light, and drinkable body, with vibrant freshness and saline tension, enriched by a typical bouquet of Mediterranean herbs, briny breezes, small red fruits, and floral fragrances.

The "Terre Lontane" from the Librandi winery is the fusion of one of the most important Calabrian grape varieties, Gaglioppo, and Cabernet Franc, a grape of French origin that has found interesting interpretations throughout the national territory. The two varieties come from two different estates belonging to the winery: Critone and Rosaneti, from the first located in the municipality of Strongoli comes the indigenous grape, while the second, between the municipalities of Rocca di Neto and Casabona, is the cradle of Cabernet Franc.

The story of Librandi's "Terre Lontane" begins primarily with the type of soil where the Gaglioppo and Cabernet Franc grapes grow and receive nutrients: from the calcareous-clay composition, the vines benefit, managing to give us a delicate rosé with great freshness. Harvest begins in the first half of September, and then the work proceeds in the winery where, through the sanguine method, the rosé is obtained, a technique that consists of taking from the maceration tank in which a red wine is being prepared a certain amount of must that will then be vinified in white. The process concludes with an aging in steel of about 3 months.

The "Terre Lontane" by Librandi fills the glass with a luminous rosé that fades into the rim, shining with orange reflections. Notes of raspberry and red currant open the nose followed by the classic aromas of the Mediterranean scrub surrounded by saline nuances and thyme. Once the first sip is taken, the absolute protagonists become the freshness and sapidity that make this wine a true pleasure to drink and savor. The lightness and delicacy of this union between Gaglioppo and Cabernet Franc call for pairing with dishes such as delicate first courses and fish-based dishes, such as a fry.
