The Barbaresco Roncagliette from Cascina La Berchialla, made by Olek Bondonio, is an interesting version of one of the most prized reds of our peninsula. It is a label dedicated to enthusiasts in search of artisan wines produced simply and with respect for the territory and the grapes. Only through this transparent approach is it possible to highlight and enhance the different facets of a complex denomination. The bottle is the pure and clear expression of the Roncagliette cru, located in the southern area of the Barbaresco municipality, and is distinguished by remarkable elegance and expressive finesse.

The Barbaresco Roncagliette wine is born within a small reality of the famous Langhe denomination. Cascina La Berchialla is an ancient farm that has been dedicated to viticulture in these lands since the 1800s. Today it is managed by Olek Bondonio, who, after finishing his studies and enriching his training with some experiences abroad, began producing wine from the few hectaresof the family estate. The vineyards are divided into different parcels located in particularly suited areas and are managed with great care, with the sole objective of bringing grapes of excellent quality to maturity. The Nebbiolo vines of the Roncagliette cru are hand-harvested, and the best bunches are spontaneously fermented, using only indigenous yeasts, and undergo a long maceration on the skins. The wine matures for 20 months in oak barrels and completes its aging period in the bottle.

The Barbaresco Roncagliette red from Cascina La Berchialla, made by Olek Bondonio, is the classic wine with an authentic character, which expresses the terroir directly, without enological mediation. In appearance, it presents a beautiful bright ruby red with slight garnet reflections. The olfactory profile is very fine, with aromas of violet, dried flowers, raspberry, red currant, marasca, hints of medicinal herbs, spicy and toasted nuances, derived from long aging in wood. Of medium structure, it is characterized by delicate, elegant, and persistent aromas, wrapped ina mature and evolved tannic structure. The finish is harmonious, long, and pleasantly fresh.
