The Pian delle Vigne is the Brunello di Montalcino from the Antinori estate, a historic family of Tuscan wine producers boasting a tradition of over 600 years, during which it has managed to follow the path of excellence to reach heights reserved for few talents. To date, the family of the Marchesi Antinori in Italy counts 8 estates, including the Pian delle Vigne winery located a few kilometers south of Montalcino, just above the Val d’Orcia. The estate, as well as this wine, takes its name from a railway that has been present within the property since the 19th century. Study, research, experiments, and great foresight distinguish the Marchesi, who are rooted in their beautiful Tuscan land with solid roots, from which every ancient and future product of theirs comes to life.
The Brunello “Pian delle Vigne” is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes, as is fitting for this prestigious type.
