The Gavi "Villa Scolca" is a fresh and delicate white wine. It presents itself with a bouquet of ripe fruit, pollen, and citrus, giving us an elegant sip, medium-bodied, and with good persistence. It expresses a brilliant aromatic tension played on fresh, gentle, and delicate tones.

The Piedmont white Gavi “Villa Scolca” is one of the most well-known products of the range produced by the winery La Scolca, a reference point for the winemaking production area of Gavi. It is a subtle and graceful product, striking for its fruity bouquet on the nose, a prelude to a refined sip, endowed with a beautiful aromaticity typical of the grape variety used. This is Cortese, a grape typically from Piedmont that has always settled in this territory. A bottle that every year strives to skillfully combine pleasure and precision in the glass.

This “Villa Scolca” from La Scolca is a Gavi that originates from the winery's hillside vineyards, which are around 15-20 years old, where the Cortese grapes used to make it are cultivated. The bunches, carefully harvested during the harvest phase, are destemmed and the berries are pressed. The resulting must ferments in steel containers, with a controlled and constant temperature. The maturation follows, carried out on the lees for a few months always in steel containers, at the end of which the wine is finally ready to be bottled and marketed.

The Gavi “Villa Scolca” signed by the Alexandrian winery La Scolca presents itself to the eye with an intense and bright straw yellow color. The aromas that envelop the nose develop on an olfactory progression dominated by mainly fruity notes, enriched by a slight nuance reminiscent of pollen. On the palate, it is light-bodied, with a medium-intense, taut, and direct sip, finishing with a great persistence and taste balance. The perfect bottle to accompany the entire meal, given the incredible versatility it offers in the kitchen.
