Michel Delhommeau's Muscadet Sèvre et Maine 'Saint Vincent' is a white sur lie, a style typical of the area, based on the indigenous Melon Blanc. The winery works with great sensitivity to the terroir, producing wines without passing through wood to accentuate the fruit and using yeasts on the grape skins for fermentation. The nose has very fresh notes of white fruit, with hints of saltiness and slight exotic hints. The attack on the palate is markedly fresh, the savoury character supports the nervous sip with a pleasant, subtle body. The perfect companion is a plate of seafood crudités
