The Sauternes "Le Remparts de Bastor" is a sweet wine with an excellent quality/price ratio, made from the youngest vines of Semillon, Muscadet, and Sauvignon from the Bastor - Lamontagne estate. The bouquet exudes aromas of sweet spices, honey, and orange blossoms, while the taste is rich and balanced, with good persistence and great freshness.

The Sauternes "Le Remparts de Bastor" by Bastor - Lamontagne is a sweet wine that offers an excellent balance between the quality expressed in the glass, the result of a centuries-old know-how of the winery, and the price at which it is offered, truly favorable. The linearity of the aromas and flavors that follow one another between nose and palate is striking, in a continuity where the residual sugar, excellently balanced, is essential for a quality drink that is never "boring". A perfect label when you want to indulge a little!

The wine "Le Remparts de Bastor" signed by the winery Bastor - Lamontagne is born from the blend of Sèmillon, Sauvignon, and Muscadelle, varieties cultivated in the municipality of Preignac, one of the five villages that contribute to forming the denomination. We find ourselves in a terroir characterized by a siliceous-stony subsoil, which benefits from an ideal climate for the formation of that "noble rot" that, causing an increase in residual sugar in the berries, is essential for the creation of Sauternes. The must ferments slowly in wood, for a total period of about 3-4 weeks. The final aging phase takes place in barrique and lasts between 13 and 18 months. Throughout the entire processing, no clarification operations are carried out.

The "Le Remparts de Bastor" Sauternes signed by the winery Bastor - Lamontagne presents itself visually with a straw-yellow color tending towards golden. Elegant and multifaceted the nose, skilled in developing an olfactory weave in which tertiary notes alternate with classic fruity hints, from which a sweet honey nuance also peeks out. On the palate it has excellent body, round and soft thanks to a wide sip, which evolves with a fresh and sweet taste, never cloying. A perfect bottle to give as a gift to sweet wine enthusiasts: presenting with a Sauternes makes it hard not to receive in return a smile full of gratitude!
