The Single Malt Whisky from the Royal Brackla Distillery 12 Years is a label that represents the great Scottish tradition and the classic, smooth, and elegant style of the great Whiskies from the Speyside region. The excellent quality of the malt, which with its sweet aromas characterizes the aromatic profile of the distillate, a meticulous production process, and aging in selected noble woods, provide an extraordinary tasting experience. It is no coincidence that the famous brand has been awarded the Royal Warrant by the British Royal Family, sealing a production of absolute excellence.
The Royal Brackla Single Malt is a Whisky aged 12 Years, born in an ancient distillery created in the early 1800s, which quickly established itself in the elite of great brands securing the supply to the English Royal House. The company was then acquired by John Dewars & Sons Ltd and is now part of the large international group Bacardi. Its success is due to an accurate selection of excellent malt and the presence in the Speyside area of purest water sources, which contribute to the crystalline lightness of the distillates from this wild territory. The distillation process takes place in traditional copper Pot Still stills, particularly tall, which contribute to giving an extraordinary expressive finesse. The Whisky then matures for a period of 12 years in oak barrels from Spain that were previously used for aging the fragrant fortified wines of Jerez de la Frontera.
The Royal Brackla Whisky Single Malt 12 Years is a full-bodied distillate, dedicated to those who prefer the enveloping character and the typical notes of malt and fruit of the Speyside style. It presents itself with a bright golden yellow color with slight amber reflections. The olfactory profile is elegant, soft, and very rich, with aromas of ripe yellow-fleshed fruit, malty and honeyed softness, spicy sensations, notes of cocoa, dried fruit, chocolate, delicate toasted hints, and smoke resulting from the long aging in wood. Seductive and satisfying on the palate, it offers a particularly harmonious, fruity, intense, and balanced sip, culminating in a long and very persistent finish.
