The Biserno is a majestic red Supertuscan that bases its rich tasting notes on the use of Bordeaux-style grapes. Elegant and enveloping, it presents itself in the glass as an intense and clear ruby red and expresses precise and multifaceted aromatic notes, with hints of blueberries and dehydrated plums. The sip is rich and full in persistence, with great softness and fine tannic structure, a testament to the greatness of this bottle.

The Biserno Magnum is part of the exclusive circle of the best Supertuscans, produced in the splendid territory of the Costa Toscana between Bibbona and Bolgheri. It is a classic Bordeaux blend made with: Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Verdot, which in this area of Tuscany express themselves at high qualitative levels, with an elegant, mature, and enveloping profile. Although it is produced with international grape varieties, it is a wine that brings all the best Mediterranean characteristics of the terroir into the glass.

The Magnum Biserno is produced at the Tenuta di Biserno, a splendid estate located along the Tuscan coast, a wonderful area of soft hilly reliefs between Bibbona and Bolgheri. We are in the heart of Alta Maremma, where the warm and sunny climate, thanks to the mild sea breezes, is sweeter and very suitable for Bordeaux-origin grape varieties, which have found a second homeland here. The soils are highly suitable, of alluvial origin, and composed of limestone, pebbles, and clays, in various proportions depending on the different areas of the estate.estate. It was thus possible to plant Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot in the most suitable soils, to enhance their best characteristics. The vines are trained to a spurred cordon, with a planting density of 6500 vines per hectare. It is born from a careful selection of the best grapes from the estate's most vocated vineyards. After destemming and soft pressing, fermentation follows in temperature-controlled steel tanks for 4 weeks. The wine rests for 15 months in barrique, 75% new and the rest already used. The bottle aging before release is expected to be at least one year, but the wine reaches its full expressive maturity after 4 or 5 years from bottling.

Biserno wine is an excellence for connoisseurs, dedicated to those who love the great reds of the Costa Toscana, which manage to combine the typicity of the place with the varietal characteristics of the noble Bordeaux grape varieties. The color is a very intense ruby red with garnet reflections. The aromas are fine and elegant, reminiscent of smalldark berry fruits, plum, cherry, red fruit jams, spices, and tobacco. The taste is significant, full-bodied and structured, with a fine tannic texture, complex and deep aromas, and a persistent, harmonious, and spicy finish. An important Magnum format for true connoisseurs!
