“Della Donna Selvatica” is the name of an amaro that comes from the collaboration between Romano Levi and his sister Lidia. The Levi distillery is located in Neive, in the area of the great Barbaresco wines, and it is a true institution for all lovers of grappa and spirits. It is a small artisanal reality, passed down from father to son, that has always based its success on distillations carried out with a traditional copper pot still and on a savoir-faire based on experience and mastery. For the preparation of the amaro, long infusions are carried out to extract all the principles and aromas. The deep knowledge of the territory has given rise to a label loved by all enthusiasts.

The Amaro "Della Donna Selvatica" from the Piedmont distillery of Romano Levi is still made today using the original selection of botanicals, chosen to create a harmonious aroma capable of expressing a pleasantly balanced taste. The best herbs, collected from the hills of the Langhe, including Genziana, Sambuco, and Salvia, are combined with the citrusy and bitter flavor of Chinotto di Savona and the scent of oranges from Bergeggi. A small percentage of grappa from Romano Levi, the true trademark of the label, is then added to the precious infusion. Its rather dark amber color already announces rich and dense aromas, which characterize its bouquet. Citrus peel, medicinal herbs, mountain herbs, and balsamic hints, conquered immediately, anticipating a sip, soft, warm, and deep, characterized by a very persistent finish, which returns to fresh balsamic notes. A precious gem absolutely to try.
