This label represents a celebration of love, absolutely, for the vineyard and for wine, and just like in a summer love, it manages to be passionate and overwhelming. The color is bright pale pink, the aromas released are those of red fruits like currant, strawberry, raspberry, and white flowers. The taste is fresh, crisp, fruity, mineral, and has excellent nose-mouth correspondence.
"Amore", from the Umbrian winery Barberani, is a label produced with pure Sangiovese vinified as rosé. It is a rosé with a straightforward and genuine character, appreciated for its immediate taste pleasure and its fragrant fruity freshness. Made very delicately and aged only in steel, it preserves all the varietal aromas of the grape, returning in the glass the floral notes and the ripe fruit of the best Sangiovese. Young and simple, it is a lively rosé with a pleasantly sociable character.
The rosé "Amore" is born among the rows of the Barberani estate, an Umbrian reality that cultivates about fifty hectares in the area of Lake Corbara. The agronomic management follows the principles of organic farming, also using biodynamic preparations. The Sangiovese vineyards are about 30 years old and are cultivated at an altitude between 200 and 300 meters above sea level, with a northeast exposure, on sedimentary soils of ancient marine origin, rich in pebbles and fossils. The the harvest is carried out manually with a slight advance and the best bunches are gently pressed with a brief contact with the skins. The must is vinified in white in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25-30 °C, using only indigenous yeasts. Before bottling, the wine rests for a few months in steel tanks.
The wine "Amore" from the Barberani winery is a rosé characterized by a modern style, inspired by the most current models of the type, which focus mainly on finesse and freshness. It seduces the eye with a pale pink color with bright and luminous reflections. The bouquet is fragrant and refined, with floral scents, aromas of citrus peel, pink grapefruit, pomegranate, red currant, raspberry, sour cherry, wild strawberries, peach and light hints of aromatic herbs. The taste is inviting, with fruit characterized by delicate nuances, finishing on very fresh and savory notes. It is an ideal rosé to enjoy with appetizers, with tomato-based first courses, risottos with vegetables, stews of prawns or shrimp.
