The Barbera d'Alba "Cerreto" by Roberto Voerzio is a red wine made from grapes of a single vineyard, which it also bears the name of. It presents itself as ruby red, with pleasant fruity aromas that engage both mentally and spiritually.

The Barbera d'Alba "Cerreto" is a Piedmontese red that comes from the cultivation of Barbera grapes in a single vineyard, which gives its name to the label itself. It is therefore a true cru with which the winery Roberto Voerzio aims to highlight the characteristics of a varietal that, while belonging to the traditional regional peasant viticulture, is able to show itself with depth and personality worthy of note. A fruity and mineral nose is a prelude to a complex sip, in which "balance" is the word that best describes the overall flavors experienced during tasting. A bottle to be appreciated with awareness, down to the last drop!

This Barbera d'Alba "Cerreto" comes from the plot of land that the winery Roberto Voerzio owns in the surroundings of La Morra, exposed to the east and west. The harvest, which takes place manually between mid and late September, selects the best bunches, which are immediately destemmed in the areas designated for winemaking at the winery. After the pressing of the grapes, the must ferments in steel, macerating for a total of 12-14 days. We then proceed with the aging, initially carried out for 12 months in tonneaux, 70% new, and then in steel, for another 8 months. At the end of this period, the bottling and marketing procedures begin.

The "Cerreto" is a Barbera d'Alba that paints the glass with a hue reminiscent of ruby. The nose opens with slightly ethereal notes and contains fruity touches and more mineral hints. On the palate, it is full-bodied, rich, with a flavorful sip that enjoys a nice balance between tannin and freshness. A red signed by Roberto Voerzio that boasts a good evolutionary capacity over the next 4-5 years, always guaranteeing a high-quality drink.
