
Barbera del Monferrato Frizzante 'La Monella' Magnum Braida 2024
"La Monella" is a sparkling red wine from Monferrato, produced from Barbera grapes. It ages for 4 months in steel, thus preserving the primary flavors of the grape: strawberry, cherry, raspberry, and subtle hints of violet and black pepper. On the palate, the fruit returns, giving it liveliness, lightness, cheerfulness, and delightful freshness.

The name tells us a very amusing historical anecdote: "Giacomo's father selected the most rebellious and exuberant barrel of Barbera and called it "La Monella" and it was recognized for its characteristic and uncontrollable fizz." In short, behind its is also a sort of dedication to Giacomo's great father.
Barbera "La Monella" Magnum is born in the heart of Monferrato, just south of Asti, in the vineyards of Rocchetta Tanaro. The young vines grow at an altitude of 160 meters, on soils rich in sand and clay, which guarantee an absolutely intense and inviting aromatic profile. The selected grapes are fermented and macerated on the skins for at least 10 days and then aged for 4 months with sparkling fermentation in stainless steel autoclaves. It concludes its journey with a glass aging of at least 2 months.
“La Monella” Braida displays a cloak halfway between ruby red and purple, enriched by a rich and lively foam. The olfactory profile is decidedly fresh and pleasant, rich in fragrant and winey aromas, with clear and bright notes of small red fruits, where strawberry, raspberry, and cherry blend against a light background of spices and dark flowers.On the palate it is light, very drinkable, fun, lively, intensely fresh and
